Hollyoaks Style.

For anyone that indulges in Hollyoaks, I'm sure you would have recognised Maddie Morrison's undeniable fashion taste. From her red and black merged fur coat to her Jeffrey Campbell ankle boots. She stands out of the show massively, one to be jealous of! I might turn to acting so I can be free to all these beautiful garments.

Flesh and Bone.

 Zygomatic Brawlgown- £1200

Obscure Couture- nominee for best young designer of the year in Scotland. It would come as no surprise if they were to win with their individual and extravagant persona. The mix between street and stage-wear they create brings something refreshing to the fashion market, not only is it refreshing to the market it is also accessible. Every season a couture range and a RTW collection is bought out to suit all needs. Fabrics consisting of French lace, pure wool and gold foiled pigskin. They go my the moto- “we don't follow trend books, we follow our instincts!” this is highly portrayed within the clothing, if you dare to look there are some samples on this post.

Syd and Mallory.

If you hadn't seen or heard already, there is a beautiful vintage boutique in Sheffield called Syd and Mallory. Not to threat if this is too far from you, ASOS marketplace are lucky enough to feature such a lovely take on vintage. My first encounter of these designs was at Clothes Show Live 2011, I fell in love with how unique everything was, out of every trip I had taken to Camden Market to find golden vintage finds I had never come across a stall like this before. I purchased a beautiful clutch from there, abundant with a curtain tassel, bows and ribbons. From the 1970's, this bag now has been transformed in to present day. With the slogan “Not just another Vintage Store.” suits it perfectly. I advise you to look through if you like vintage with a contemporary finish! Word of warning, if you buy more than one item you have to pay p&p for each item separately...annoying right!
